Boubacar Traoré is FC Metz's Bronze Wall for the 2025 campaign. A two-time Africa U20 Cup of Nations winner, the 25-year-old Malian midfielder has established himself as a foundational figure at the club since his high-profile return to French football.
Operating as a defensive Wall, Traoré has logged 1082 minutes across 15 appearances this season. While he is currently searching for rhythm after a recent quiet spell, his technical Dribbling dimension of 70 marks him as a unique specialist who excels at escaping pressure. His DRIBBLER badge highlights a 75% success rate in 1v1 situations, proving he is a vital outlet for transitioning from defense to attack. Having been the focal point in several major matches already, his established reliability provides a necessary safety net for the team’s tactical structure even when the collective form wavers.
As the Stakes rise in the league, Traoré’s €5M valuation highlights his status as a key asset for the club. Finding the right Balance between his defensive duties and his elite ball-carrying ability will be essential to reversing the current trend and driving the team forward.
