CJ Fodrey

Calvin Fodrey is Austin's Bronze Utility player, slowly building his body of work in the senior squad. The 22-year-old Coronado native has been part of the setup since late 2022, navigating a series of development loans while looking to cement a permanent place on the pitch.

As a versatile contributor, Fodrey is tasked with filling tactical gaps across the pitch whenever called upon. With 315 minutes spread across 14 appearances this campaign, he remains in an emerging reliability bracket, meaning his ultimate tactical ceiling is still being calibrated. While he is searching for rhythm and navigating a quiet spell in form, his imposing physical stature offers a unique wrinkle for the Austin setup. Standing at 1.88 metres, his sheer presence adds a robust, physical edge to his utility profile. The focus now is on transforming brief, rotational cameos into tangible output, ensuring that his raw physical attributes translate into consistent match involvement as he develops his overall game.

With a stable market value sitting at €0M, the stakes are deeply personal for the young utility man. The immediate priority is simply breaking into the regular rotation and translating his physical promise into consistent minutes, which will naturally drive up his broader valuation in the future.
