Luken Beitia

Luken Beitia is establishing himself as a reliable Bronze tier Squad Player, steadily building his body of work at the professional level. A product of the youth setup who climbed the ranks from the U19s, the 22-year-old from Elgoibar is proving that patience pays dividends. While he has yet to lift any senior silverware in his young career, his long-term contract running until 2030 signals significant club belief in his underlying potential and development.

With three appearances yielding 270 minutes of action this season, Beitia is currently maintaining a consistent level when called upon by the manager. The underlying metrics clearly highlight Defense as his standout attribute, showcasing a traditional, no-nonsense approach to guarding the penalty area. His willingness to put his body on the line and execute elite shot blocks has rightfully earned him the SHIELD recognition. While he is still going through the early stages of cementing his rotational role, with zero goals or assists to his name, his steady form makes him an emerging asset who follows tactical instructions to the letter.

His development trajectory is catching attention off the pitch as well. Boasting a rising market valuation of €1M, Beitia is turning into a solid financial and sporting prospect for the squad. The stakes for the young defender now revolve around maximizing these rotational minutes to prove he belongs at the highest level.
