Maxence Lacroix is Crystal Palace's Gold Wall, a towering presence who has quickly become central to the club's silverware ambitions. With four career trophies now to his name, including the 2025 FA Cup and Community Shield, the Frenchman brings championship pedigree to the heart of the Eagles' backline.
Lacroix has been the definition of consistency as a Wall, clocking 2,160 minutes across 24 appearances. While he is currently searching for rhythm following a slight slump in his form rating, his foundational Defense score of 61 remains his greatest asset. His reliability over a full season has validated his SQUAD PLAYER status, proving he is a reliable option whenever the Intensity of a crunch match demands physical dominance and positional discipline.
With a market value rising to €32M, Lacroix’s stock has never been higher since his move from the Bundesliga. As Palace continues to push for European spots, his ability to anchor the defense will be critical to maintaining their upward trajectory in the Premier League.
