Lucas Gourna-Douath

Lucas Gourna-Douath is Salzburg's Bronze Squad Player, currently establishing his place in the side after a series of high-profile moves across Europe. At 23 years old, the French-born midfielder is building his body of work in the Austrian Bundesliga, bringing the physical profile of a modern screen in front of the back four. Without a professional trophy yet in his cabinet, his focus remains on cementing his reputation as a reliable top-tier engine.

Our take is that he is currently hitting top form, with a performance level that suggests he is ready for more responsibility. Over 270 minutes across 3 appearances, he has focused heavily on his primary duty: Defense. While he has yet to record a goal or assist, his contribution is measured by his ability to disrupt opposition play. His Defense metrics are his strongest suit, marking him as a specialist in a squad that demands high Intensity. Even with a limited sample size, the data shows he is on an upward trajectory, outperforming his baseline season ability as he integrates further into the tactical setup.

The market context reflects a period of transition, with his value currently sitting at €4M. Despite a downward trend in valuation, his recent Balance on the pitch suggests a player who could soon see his stock rise again. These are high Stakes for the young midfielder as he looks to turn his emerging status into a permanent fixture in the starting eleven.
