Nikola Katic

Nikola Katić currently operates as a Bronze-tier Squad Player, steadily building his body of work for the campaign. Known for his towering presence, the giant defender is an imposing physical unit who brings undeniable grit to the backline. With zero career trophies to lean on, his motivation remains purely about establishing himself and earning regular minutes at this level. Featuring in just four appearances so far this term, our verdict is that he is still waiting for a consistent run of matches to truly stamp his authority on the defensive setup.

Just 346 minutes of action tells the story of a peripheral figure navigating an emerging sample size. His remarkably low involvement on the ball has resulted in a GHOST label, registering a mere 46 touches per 90 minutes. He is clearly not tasked with building out from the back. Instead, a commanding Defense score highlights his true specialist profile. He strips away all the tactical noise to focus on pure destruction and clearance duties. His lack of passing rhythm is easily overshadowed by his sheer willingness to put his body on the line. Despite the lack of heavy rotation minutes, he is on an upward trajectory in recent weeks. When called upon to shut down the opposition late in a match, he provides the exact kind of no-nonsense reliability a manager craves from the bench.
