Ahmed Traore

Traore Ahmed is Karagümrük’s Bronze utility piece. A 19-year-old left-footer from Yamoussoukro, he has arrived as a pure project player with no trophies yet and plenty to prove. The club is feeling out where he fits best, using him as a flexible squad option rather than locking him into one fixed role on the pitch.

This season is about minutes, not medals. Twelve appearances and 284 minutes tell the story of short cameos, not centre-stage billing. There are no goals or assists to shout about, but his standout trait is clearly on the Defense side. Positioning and willingness to engage in duels hint at a profile that defends first and asks questions later. His season ability sits a step above his output, which suggests there is more in the tank than his low overall rating shows. He’s going through a quiet spell form-wise, but at this age that reads as a learning curve rather than a warning sign. With reliability still in the emerging band, the data set is small and the story is only just taking shape.

For the club, the risk is tiny and the upside is all future. Market value might be listed at zero but the trajectory points upwards. If his defensive impact grows with game time, he could become a handy wildcard option when the pressure spikes in a crunch match.
